The First Year Development Program was established to help students with little or no finance background to quickly become accustomed to the world of investing. This semester long program prepares students to succeed in their future endeavors within finance, business, and investing. This program covers fundamental principles of finance through an educational course which focuses on helping students prepare for different investing-related career paths.

Throughout the program, you will be granted the opportunity to:

a). Build tight-knit relationships with fellow program participants through activities and socials

b). Gain a base-line understanding of financial concepts such as valuation, financial modeling, and how to think about investing

c). Become a knowledgeable and contributing member of the AIC family

This program is highly selective and only accepts 30 students. In order to join, you must be a first-semester member of the Aggie Investment Club.
