Meet The Team!

The AIC leadership team is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the club and is committed to the long-term growth and success of the organization. Each member of the team brings a unique perspective and skill set to the table and was elected by the organization through a democratic voting process. We’re looking forward to serving AIC members for the 2023-2024 academic year!

Logan Colhoun

President

Class of 2025

When given the chance, I enjoy hiking and mountain biking in remote locations (albeit few opportunities in College Station), watching Seinfeld, or reading with a cup of coffee. You’ll often find yourself annoyed when I start talking about the duality of man or the dangers of moral relativism, without anyone prompting me to do so. I interned at Saguaro Capital Management in the summer of ‘23 and am looking forward to interning at Point72 in the summer of ‘24.

Jared Gutierrez

Treasurer

Class of 2025

I enjoy visiting national parks around Texas, playing pickup basketball at the main rec, or trying new cooking recipes. I consider myself a film buff who is always interested in finding a good movie or discussing critically acclaimed films. I interned at J.P. Morgan Chase in the summer of ‘23, and am looking forward to interning at Wells Fargo Securities in the summer of ‘24.

Vice President

Class of 2026

When I’m not sleeping overnight in the WCL, you can find me with a lemon lime Celsius in one hand and the WSJ in the other. I have way more interests than I can keep up with, so chances are that if you strike up a conversation with me about anything, I’ll chat with you about it for hours! This summer, I studied abroad in Europe and interned at Deloitte in their Audit & Assurance division. If you ever want to grab a coffee, please feel free to reach out!

William Hofmann

Marketing Director

Class of 2026

My name is Will Hofmann, and I’m a finance major from The Woodlands, TX. If I’m not at home watering my bonsai tree or cooking as if I’m the next Gordon Ramsey, you can probably find me working in the computer lab of the WCL. During the summer, I worked at a search fund focusing on the B2B SaaS space. Feel free to reach out if you need anything!

Ryan Shook

Head of HR

Class of 2026

Hello, I'm Ryan Shook. I am a sophomore business honors/finance major from Austin, Texas and I look forward to working with everyone this year! Something that I sincerely enjoy is doing anything that involves being outdoors. So, whether it be fishing at Aggie Park, riding my bike around campus, or playing pick-up games at Penberthy I always love to stay connected with the outside. Besides this, I often read (typically books involving history or finance) and enjoy my favorite show Breaking Bad. This past summer I interned at a commercial bank, however, I aspire to break into the world of investment banking this upcoming year.

Michael Blackburne

SAW Director

Class of 2023

Howdy, my name is Michael Blackburne and I am a senior finance major from San Antonio, Tx. This past summer I interned with Bank of America for Real Estate Corporate Banking within Enterprise Credit in Dallas. Before that, I had a Commercial Real Estate brokerage summer associate internship with NewQuest Properties in Houston. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 5 siblings, cooking, and watching movies.

Juan Jose Vivanco

Head Of Outreach

Class of 2026

My name is Juan Jose Vivanco, and I have the privilege of serving as the Head of Outreach this year for AIC. I am currently a sophomore at Mays pursuing a degree in finance. I enjoy reading, playing chess (2000 ELO), and drinking coffee in my free time.

Audrey Murillo

Head of Sponsors

Class of 2026

Howdy! I am a sophomore Finance major from San Antonio, TX. After hours, I like catching up with friends, trying new foods, and finding new obsessions. When I don’t have to read my textbooks, I like reading articles on philosophy. If you ever want to chat about music or philosophy, let me know! This past summer, I gained some hands-on experience in corporate finance and constructing an internal balance sheet, but I look forward to gaining formal investing experience in the near future.
